Ruben Giuliani graduated with honours from the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan under the guidance of maestro Gabriele Baffero. He has won a variety of competitions, including the “Concorso Città di Giussano”, the “Agimus” award in Florence and within the Milan Conservatory, the “Teresina Tua” the “Rancati” special mention and the Conservatory Award for chamber music. He has played as soloist and in chamber ensembles at a number of concerts given by important musical institutions including the Quartet Association in Milan and the Santa Cecilia Foundation in Portogruaro. He has played solo for the most distinguished conductors, including Ottavio Dantone and Giovanni Antonini, and has collaborated with important contemporary musical ensembles including the “Divertimento Ensemble”. Having started learning the violin with Virginia Ceri, he went on to refine his skills with Vadim Brodski, Ilya Grubert and Pavel Berman. He is currently taking a Master of Arts course in music performance with maestro Pavel Berman at the Swiss Italian Conservatory.
