Born in Milan he studied at the " G. Verdi Conservatory" and continued his studies under the guidance of maestro Francesco Siragusa, first solo double bass at the “Teatro e della Filarmonica della Scala”. He has taken a number of master classes with some of the great maestros of his instrument including Giuseppe Ettorre, Thomas Martin and Eugene Levinson. He has played in many orchestras and at international festivals including the “Internationale Junge OrkesterAkademie - Bayreuther Osterfestival”, the “WYO” and the “MITO” thus having the opportunity to play with important conductors such as Daniele Gatti, Gianandrea Noseda and Matthias Foremny. He plays regularly in different formations of chamber ensembles, therefore extending his chamber repertoire as well as his orchestral repertoire. He is also dedicated to contemporary music events organised by maestro Sandro Gorli, conductor of the Divertimento Ensemble of Milan and he also took part in the recording of the cd “Crescendo” by maestro Alessandro Solbiati. He has been part of “LaFil – Milan Philharmonic” ever since it was founded.
