Biography
Born in Paterno’ (CT) on 28/06/1987, she obtained her diploma in viola in 2011 at the “V.Bellini” Music Institute in Caltanissetta with the grade 9/10. From 2012 to 2016 she continued her studies in Berlin under the guidance of maestro Andreas Willwohl (first viola in the RSB orchestra) and of Joaquin Riquelme Garçia (violist in the Berliner Philharmoniker). During her studies in Berlin she played rank and file viola with the Sylk Road Symphony Orchestra and with the Junge Musiker Stiftung orchestra at the Festival of Bayreuth. Meanwhile she was a member of the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala orchestra, as first and second viola. She currently lives in Milan where she plays in a number of orchestras including the Festival Pianistico Internazionale orchestra of Brescia and Bergamo, the 1813 Orchestra in Como, the Antonio Vivaldi orchestra, the Testori Ensemble and the Polledro Ensemble. She has played with maestros of international fame including Fabio Luisi, David Coleman, Mikhail Tatarnikov, Placido Domingo and Martha Argerich. She has taken part in the Opera Festival in Barga playing in the Quartetto le Musiche lead by Maestro Simone Bernardini (violinist in the Berliner Philharmoniker). She has also taught pre-academic courses at the Perosi Academy in Biella.
