Accademia nazionale di Santa Cecilia orchestraBiography
First solo bassoon in the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia orchestra since 1985, he plays with the Lucerne Festival Orchestra, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and the Mozart Orchestra with maestro Claudio Abbado, the Scala philharmonic orchestra, the Human Rights Orchestra and with the chamber orchestra of Mantua. He has also been invited to play with maestro Lorin Maazel and the Symphonica Toscanini. He graduated at a very young age with full marks from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory under Marco Costantini and he has won a number of national and international competitions (I Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan; the Orchestra Regionale Toscana; the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia; the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra). He takes part in many concerts all over the world, both as a highly valued soloist and in important chamber ensembles. He also holds a number of courses and master classes. From 1997 to 2000 he was chair of wind instruments for the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Youth Orchestra. He is professor for the Bassoon Post Graduate course at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. He is also Professor of Bassoon at the L. Perosi Conservatory in Campobasso. www.francescobossone.it
