Born in Bari in 1992, he graduated in 2013 with full marks, honours and special mention from the “N. Rota” Conservatory in Monopoli under maestro M. Forte, then at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome in 2014 under maestro G. Sollima followed by the Swiss Italian conservatory with Prof. M. Leskovar where he obtained a Master of Arts in Music Performance with full marks in 2016. He continued to perfect his skills with maestros R. Filippini, A. Meneses and M. Kliegel. He has won more than 20 national and international competitions. Including first prize at the “M. Benvenuti” Rassegna Nazionale d’Archi in Vittorio Veneto (2008 and 2010), he came 2 nd in the “Premio Geminiani” competition in Verona (2012) which earend him the use of a “G. Vinaccia” cello (Naples 1886). He has played first cello in the L. Cherubini orchestra, the Nazionale dei Conservatori orchestra, the Ensemble Novecento and currently with the Young Talents Orchestra EY conducted by maestro C. Rizzari in which he is also soloist. He plays in the Teatro alla Scala orchestra and philharmonic, under the direction of the most famous conductors including R. Chailly, F. Luisi, D. Gatti, V. Gergiev, Z. Metha, P. Jarvi, and M. W. Chung.
