Pierfrancesco Galli began learning the violin at the age of eight. During his years in middle school he was taught by Guido Banchieri. He went on to study at the G.Verdi high school of the Milan Conservatory where he continued to study the violin with Mauro Loguercio and obtained his diploma with top marks. He went on to refine his skills through a number of master classes with great violinists including Yulia Berinskaya, Yehezkel Yerushalmi, Francesco Manara, Dmitri Chichlov and Sergej Krylov. He has played at a number of concert halls in orchestras and in chamber music ensembles: in the Sala Verdi at the Milan Conservatory, at the Paris Conservatory, at the Teatro dal Verme, at the Teatro Coccia in Novara, in the auditorium of the Parco della Musica in Rome, several times in Switzerland (Bellinzona and Locarno) and others. He has worked with many top class musicians including Caldi, Ennio Morricone, Carlo Maria Parazzoli, Francesco De Angelis, Corrado Rovaris, Andrea Sanguineti and Daniele Gatti. For his baroque repertoire he collaborated with O. Dantone in the execution of Vivaldi’s Estro Armonico.
